Mission Statement
Originally, back so far as our Invisionfree days, the site was conceived with three purposes in mind: Clans, Levels and Battles.
But, these purposes being never quite set in stone; GMClans was at the mercy of my (Serrellious's) whim. Whatever features were to be adopted were at the fingers of my fancy and whatever craziness it was I decided to pursue was going to be the site's new direction.
But, in light of recent articulation and discussion, that philosophy has changed, and the site purposes have finally been proofed in the following Mission Statement:
- To centralize, cater to and help the demands of independent game developers wishing to work together in clans.
- To provide motivation, resources and aid to all game developers, whether in a clan or not, to hone their skills and enjoy the process of doing so.
- To provide streamlined resources for clans and independents to publish and publicize accomplishments on the web.
This list will most likely be preserved, although it is amendable.
